To Grade 6 Students, their teacher and their music teacher:
I attended the Remembrance Assembly this morning and I wish to say thank you for the wonderfully reverent and respectful Assembly. You captured in words and music and in your respectful demeanour the importance of your generation to remember the the true price of wars.
The singing of “Where Have All the Flowers Gone” by the whole school, was particularly lovely. It was obvious that all the students had been practising and I and others were moved to tears. I am not a veteran of any war, but both my parents were.. Thank you again for your act of Remembrance.

My sister gave me a beautiful gift for Christmas..a group of four black and white photographs of different areas of Bishop Feild College.I attended there from 1965 to 1971 and would love to know where I could find some more copies of those pictures.I have two lifelong friends who I met there in Kindergarten and would love to send them the same gift. Our memories from Bishop Feild mean a lot and when we get together each summer we play golf together wearing our Feildian colours!!

Barry Parsons was the photographer that took these photos. He was a parent at our school at the time. They are gorgeous! I am sure Barry can help you.

I have a book (Great Expectations) that was awarded by Bp. Feild College on June 30, 1919. I think this is your school. I think the headmaster was a Mr. Wood. I wanted to send some photos but I can’t. if you would like to see the sticker on the inside of the book, please provide me an address. If you would be interested in the book I would be glad to mail it to you. It was given to our Thrift Shop. Would love to be able to return it. It was won by: G. S?irling (I’m not sure on the spelling).

What an extraordinary accomplishment for the Administration and Staff this past week. As a grandparent of a Grade One and Grade Four student I deeply appreciate their hard work and dedication. I would also like to thank all the volunteers who helped make the transition into the new location such a pleasant and positive experience.
